Our fourth and final stay with the Library Hotel Collection was at the lovely Hotel Giraffe; a sleek, tall, and beautiful hotel, just like a Giraffe!
The Hotel Giraffe
What guests of the Hotel Giraffe can expect to find is the same high standard of excellence available at all four boutique hotels within the Library Hotel Collection. And, guess what? We walked to each and every hotel, one from the next. Each morning we’d pack up and head to our next destination. Who says NYC is not a walkable city?! We had a great time, it was like a mini treasure hunt each morning. We’d enter the address in to our GPS and off we went in search of our next stay. Loved it! Our stay in NYC was made so much more interesting by walking to each hotel.
Off to Explore the City
We checked in and dropped off our bags mid morning and we took off to explore the city. We walked for miles, and luckily t was a warm beautiful August day. Because we couldn’t think of a better way to begin our day we decided on an al fresco brunch at Jacob’s Pickles. And. it was delicious. We highly recommend Jacob’s, fantastic food! After brunch we let the city dictate our path. It was the perfect New York Day as we strolled through Central Park, followed by a visit to The Neue Gallery and The Met and finally, a stop St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
The Evening Respite
By the time we returned to the Hotel Giraffe in the early evening, it was time to once again enjoy a relaxing respite with a glass of champagne, delicious olives, nuts and a selection of cheese. Let me tell you, we were getting mighty spoiled by night four, but it’s all part of the service, and what service it was! We cozied up together on a small comfortable sofa, sipped champagne and listened to the lovely piano music serenade. It can be stated that this is not my best video, but you get the gist, yes?
A Balcony for Two
There is something special about a boutique hotel, it’s a much more personal experience. And, the Library Hotel Collection leaves the guest completely satisfied. They’ve thought of everything from continental breakfast each morning, to a wine and cheese reception each evening, with turn down service, extraordinarily friendly and professional staff, and comfortable rooms that are amply supplied with amenities. It was extra nice to enjoy our balcony on a warm summer evening.
If you find yourself in New York, and really you should, we suggest you also find yourself at one of the four boutique hotels in The Library Hotel Collection.
